ANALISIS FAKTOR PENDORONG DAN HAMBATAN PEMBENTUKAN KELOMPOK WANITA TANI (KWT) DI DESA KEBONCAU, KECAMATAN UJUNGJAYA, KABUPATEN SUMEDANG

Abstract

The formation of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Keboncau Village is one of the strategic efforts in optimizing the role of women in the agricultural sector. In the midst of economic challenges, limited access to capital, and lack of technological innovation, the formation of KWT is expected to improve welfare and empower women through productive economic activities. However, in its implementation, there are various driving and inhibiting factors that affect the sustainability of KWT. This study aims to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the establishment of KWT in Keboncau Village, and evaluate how these factors affect group participation and performance. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for policy makers and practitioners in rural economic empowerment. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation, and analyzed thematically to identify key themes related to the KWT formation strategy, development, and economic impact.
