Edukasi Pencegahan Stunting Melalui Program KKN (Pengenalan Pertumbuh Kembangan Balita di Desa Cibugel)

Abstract

Stunting cases in Indonesia are still relatively high, reaching 30.8%. This figure is still far from the WHO standard of 20%. The stunting prevalence rate in West Java is 25.5%, although the stunting rate is below the national figure (30.8%), there are still four regions with a fairly high stunting prevalence rate, including Sumedang district of 30.6%. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge of the people of Cibugel Village, Cibugel District, Sumedang Regency about stunting prevention. The method used is an approach through counseling and measurement of toddlers. The results of the counseling show that there are 4 toddlers who are indicated to be malnourished (23%) and there are 13 toddlers who show good nutrition (77%). The impact of this service is increasing public knowledge about stunting prevention with differences in the results from toddler data that have been measured and become benchmarks to prevent stunting in toddlers.
