The focus of this Community Service (PkM) activity is "what the government and the community must know and do" in disaster mitigation. PkM activities in the form of socialization on disaster mitigation aim to provide awareness and increase the ability of the community to face the threat of disasters in Naluk village, so that they can anticipate and be prepared for emergencies or hazards so as to minimize the negative impacts caused. This PkM activity uses the counseling (direct) method to the community and Naluk village government officials. The targets of this activity were village officials, community leaders, Karang Taruna groups, PKK, and Bhabinkamtibmas Naluk village. The event is divided into two sessions. The first session was socialization on disaster mitigation with resource persons from (BPBD). The second session, an introduction to instant public information services and integrated digital public services presented by the UNSAP team. The material presented included: Introduction to Disaster Description (Disaster Info Graphic) in Sumedang Regency, Trigger Factors and Preparedness, and Introduction to Instant Public Information Services. This activity is still considered imperfect because it is not accompanied by a simulation (rehearsal). Community groups and local governments are the parties that actually provide assistance to the affected population so they must be prepared in responding to emergencies. Therefore it is very important for the Destana task force to hasten its formation in Naluk village.
