Abstract

Based on the findings in the field and at the same time the solution to this problem, the author wants to try to improve the learning outcomes of sprinting in the form of games so that students' motivation to learn is maintained. One form of game that the author will apply is the fortification game. The number of members of each squad is between 4 and 8 people, each squad will choose a place as a headquarters in the form of pillars or pillars of houses as a fortress. Determination of the number of squad members by way of suit. Using the game method is very appropriate to use when learning because it can make students interested. This study aims to determine the effect of the fortification game on the learning outcomes of sprint running for boys in grades XI-8 of SMAN 2 Sumedang. The results of hypothesis testing show that: (1) from the results of the research and based on the results of the research and statistical calculations on the data obtained in this study, the author can draw the conclusion that the game has a significant influence on the learning outcomes of the 100-meter sprint in male students in grades XI-8. In addition, to prove the improvement of student learning outcomes, the researcher conducted an improvement test. This shows a significant result at the real level (a) = 0.05, namely tcount > ttable, which is 12.97 > 1.771. There was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. N-Gain with a moderate interpretation of 38.2%.
