This research was motivated by the fact that students were not interested in sprint running material because the learning methods taught by the teacher were not interesting enough, resulting in less than optimal learning outcomes. In the sprint running learning process, students were still less active in learning, at the start there were still many students who were wrong in their hand positions and leg bends, as well as when running, their hand positions were not swung, their bodies were too upright when running, resulting in less than optimal sprint running learning outcomes. The objectives of this study were: (1) to determine the effect of the part and whole learning method on the learning outcomes of 60-meter sprint running in male students in grade VIII at Sukapura Middle School in the 2023/2024 academic year and (2) to determine the extent of the effect of the part and whole learning method on the learning outcomes of 60-meter sprint running in male students in grade VIII at Sukapura Middle School in the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental approach with a one group pretest and posttest design. The sample of this study was 14 male students in grade VIII at Sukapura Middle School. The instrument in this study was a 60-meter sprint test. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) the average initial test was 9.33 and the average final test was 8.17, thus the average test value increased, (2) the results of the Liliefors test calculation on the initial test Lhitung (0.158585) < Ltabel (0.227) and on the final test Lhitung (0.144314) < Ltabel (0.227). Lhitung was obtained from the highest value of |F(zi) – S(zi)| from the normality test in the table so that it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed, (3) the results of the significance test calculation using the t test obtained a thitung value of 3.935 while ttable with 13 degrees of freedom was 1.771. When compared, it turns out that the t-count value > t-table value or 3.935 > 1.771. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and there is a significant difference between the initial test and the final test. The percentage increase is 12.48%. Thus, it can be concluded that the part and whole learning method has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of 60-meter sprint running in male students of class VIII at Sukapura Middle School in the 2023/2024 Academic Year
