Abstract

The BUMDes was born as a new approach in an effort to improve the village economy based on the needs and potential of the village. The management of BUMDes is fully implemented by the village community, namely from the village, by the village and for the village. This activity aims to provide theoretical knowledge about the importance of establishing BUMDes as an effort to improve the village economy. This activity is carried out by giving lectures and discussions to the community and village officials in villages in Sumedang District. The implementation of the counseling that has been carried out has received a fairly good response from the community and village officials, where the community gets an idea of the importance of establishing BUMDes for the village economy. The community and village officials gave a fairly good response and received benefits in the form of increased knowledge and understanding of the importance of establishing BUMDes in an effort to improve the village economy.
