PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PAPAN PECAHAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA PADA MATERI PECAHAN SEDERHANA

Abstract

One of the difficulties experienced by grade III students in fractional material is that students find it difficult to do simple fractional calculation operation questions. This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of the use of fractional board media on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts on simple fractional material. This study used a quasi-experimental method in the form of one-group pretest-posttest designs with a population of all grade III students of SDN Panorama totaling 34 people. The sample used in this study was the population itself. The data collection instruments used in this study were in the form of initial tests and final tests. The results of this study show that the use of fractional board media has been proven to have an influence on students' mathematical concept comprehension ability. This is evidenced from the results of the final test hypothesis test which states that the data has a   = – 10.55734 which is in the  assessment area, namely – 10.55734 < – 1.959964 thus,   rejected and  accepted. So there is a significant influence on the use of fractional board media on students' mathematical concept comprehension ability.
