PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) BERBANTUAN MEDIA JAM SUDUT TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA PADA MATERI PENGUKURAN SUDUT

This research was motivated by the low mathematical problem solving ability of students, especially on angle measurement material. This is due to the use of inappropriate models and sober media so that students do not focus when learning takes place. So one way to overcome this problem is to apply the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by corner clock media. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant influence on the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by angular clock media on students' mathematical problem solving abilities on angle measurement material. The research method used is experimental research, with a pre-experimental research design with a type of one-group pretest-posttest design, consisting of initial tests (pretests) and final tests (postes). The samples taken were 28 students in grade IV of State Elementary School in Sumedang Regency. The data collection technique used in this study is a test technique. The instrument used is a written test in the form of description questions. The data analysis technique used in this study consists of data normality test through Lilliefors test and t test. Based on the test calculation results because the value of tcount = 4.185 and ttable = 2.052, with test criteria if tcount < ttable then H0 is accepted. Which means tcount is greater than ttable and is outside the reception area H0 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by angular clock media has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem solving abilities on angle measurement material. Thus, with the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by angular clock media can be used as a reference model and medium for learning mathematics, especially in angle measurement material.
