Abstract

This research is motivated by the low activity and student learning outcomes in the mathematics subject matter of multiplication and division. One effort to solve this problem is to use a generative model. This research is a class action research (CAR) in class II SDN Kadujajar III, totaling 34 people, carried out in two cycles, with the John Elliot model of CAR design. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and test sheets.Based on the results of data analysis, the results of the study in the first cycle the percentage of student learning activity was 45.42% and the percentage of success of student learning outcomes was 61.76%, while in the second cycle the percentage of student learning activity was 87.6% with good categories and the percentage of success student learning outcomes of 91.17%. Thus, learning activity and student learning outcomes have increased in each cycle. So, based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of generative models can increase student activity and learning outcomes in mathematics lessons on multiplication and division material.
