PENGARUH MODEL COOPERATIV E LEARNING TIPE THINK PAIR AND SHARE (TPS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in social studies subjects about the meaning of the proclamation. One of the efforts that can be made to improve student learning outcomes is to apply a think pair and share cooperative learning model. so that the researcher formulates the problem "Is there any effect of the use of think pair and share cooperative learning model on social studies learning outcomes for sixth graders at SDN 1 Wado". This research is a pre-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design with a sample of all sixth grade students at SDN 1 Wado. The data collection instrument used in this research is a test in the form of pre-test and post-test, and for data processing includes normality test and t-test. The results showed that the think pair and share (TPS) cooperative learning model had an effect on social studies learning outcomes on the material meaning of the proclamation of class V1 SD Negeri 1 Wado. This is evidenced by the results of the test calculations. -t which shows t_count = 6,406 > t_table = 2,064. That is, H_1 is accepted and H_0 is rejected.
