PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA PEMBELAJJARAN IPAS MATERI BENCANA ALAM KELAS V SDN CIMASUK

This research was motivated by a learning process that remains teachercentered and dominated by the lecture method, resulting in underdeveloped
science process skills (SPS) among students. The low level of SPS was
attributed to the suboptimal selection of learning models and media. This
study aimed to determine the effect of the interactive multimedia-assisted
Discovery Learning model on the SPS of fifth-grade students at SDN
Cimasuk in learning IPAS material on natural disasters. The research method
used was quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data
collection techniques included tests and observations. Data analysis involved
validity, reliability, normality, and t-tests. The results showed that the
implementation of the learning model achieved a score of 96% (practical
category). The t-test results indicated that the calculated T-value (21.56) was
greater than the T-table value (1.47), leading to the acceptance of H1. It was
concluded that there is a significant effect of applying the interactive
multimedia-assisted Discovery Learning model on students' science process
skills.
