PENGARUH MODEL TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of students in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject, this is seen from the lack of students' abilities in analyzing, evaluating, and providing conclusions. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of the Interactive Multimedia Assisted Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model on students' critical thinking abilities. The research method used is quantitative with an experimental research type with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling, namely the entire fifth grade, totaling 26 people. Data collection techniques include observation techniques and test techniques. Data analysis techniques used are normality tests, t-tests and N-Gain tests with the help of SPSS. The results of the normality test show that the data is normally distributed. The results of the t-test show a sig value = 0.000 which means it is smaller than α = 0.05, so Hα is accepted. This means that the use of the TGT model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking abilities. Meanwhile, the N-Gain result obtained a score of 0.61, which is in the moderate category, and the N-Gain percentage result obtained a value of 61.33%, which means that this TGT model is quite effective. In conclusion, this TGT model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills in the fifth grade science subject at SDN Sukamaju.
