PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low creative thinking ability of students in the IPAS subject. This is evident from the students' ability to express ideas or think fluently in class, which has not been adequately achieved. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of the STAD cooperative learning model on students' creative thinking ability. The method used is quantitative research with an experimental type and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, involving all 25 students of Grade IV. Data collection techniques included observation and tests. Data analysis techniques involved normality test, t-test, and N-Gain test assisted by SPSS. The normality test results showed that both data sets were normally distributed. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.00, which is less than 0.05, thus the alternative hypothesis is accepted. This means there is a significant effect of using the STAD cooperative learning model on students' creative thinking ability. The N-Gain test yielded a score of 0.50, indicating the effect of the STAD model is in the medium category. In conclusion, there is a significant influence of using the STAD cooperative learning model on the creative thinking ability of fourth-grade students at SDN Nagrak II in the IPAS subject.
