Abstract

This research is based on a problem that was found in mathematics learning in elementary school. The student’s learning outcomes on fractional materials haven’t reched the minimum criteria of mastery learning. One of the efforts to overcome this problem is to use comics as a learning media. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of comics learning media on the learning outcomes for mathematics fractional material in the third grade students of SDN Buahdua I. This research uses pre-experimental methods and one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this research are 11 students in the third grade of SDN buahdua I. The data collection technique is test. The instrument for this research are 10 multiple choice test. The data precessing techniques are liliefors test for normality, paired sample t-test, and effect size for t-test. The results of paired sample t-test is tstat=6,197 and tcritical=2,228. Because tstat≥tcritical or 6,197≥2,228 so H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that there is an influence of comics learning media on the learning outcomes for mathematics fractional materials in the third grade student of SDN Buahdua I in Buahdua Sub-District Sumedang Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year
