MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN KEMAMPUAN MENYUSUN TEKS DISKUSI SISWA MELALUI PENGGUNAAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT)

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the NHT learning method in improving the learning interest and ability to create discussion texts of SMPN 2 CONGGEANG 9th graders. Researchers therefore formulated this formulation of the PTK problem. In other words, we formulated whether the NHT learning method can improve the interest and discussion text-making abilities of students in grade 9 of SMPN 2 CONGGEANG for the 2021/2022 school year. Class 9A students and subject teachers are involved in this her PTK as school colleagues. Based on the results of research conducted by the authors, the formulated behavioral hypothesis was proved. This success is evidenced by the change and increase in the interest and ability of a student in class 9A SMPN 2 CONGGEANG to use her NHT learning method to create her own discussion texts. The initial condition uses the challenge-to-recite student learning outcomes method, with an average score of just 74 fewer categories (K). An increase was seen in the first cycle. Thus, the mean of 79 categories was sufficient (C). Cycle II shows an increase in returns, or an average of 91 good categories (B). In this way, the goal of learning outcomes is achieved. The improvement of student's interest and ability shows that the NHT learning method can improve the interest and discussion writing skills of her 2021/2022 school year Class 9A Class SMPN 2 CONGGEANG. This indicates that the research hypothesis was accepted
