PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SPINNING WHEEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PELAJARAN IPAS MATERI KEUNIKAN MASYARAKAT DI SEKITARKU

This research was motivated by problems that emerged related to low student learning outcomes. Considering the importance of student learning outcomes in learning science and science, the unique material of the community around me, an action or solution is needed that can improve student learning outcomes. One alternative is to use the spinning wheel learning media. The goal to be achieved is to improve student learning outcomes through the use of spinning wheel learning media. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This research was carried out at SDN Babakanbandung with research subjects consisting of 40 class IV students. The method used in this research is from Kemmis and Taggart which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques used in this research include observation and tests. The data collection instruments used were test sheets and observation sheets. The results of this research indicate that the use of spinning wheel learning media can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Babakanbandung. In cycle I the learning outcomes obtained an average of 65.5 with a percentage of 57.5%, and in cycle II it increased by obtaining an average of 77.5 with a percentage of 85%. Therefore, the learning process using spinning wheel learning media can improve student learning outcomes in science and science subjects, material unique to the community around me.
