PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS MATERI KEGIATAN JUAL BELI SEBAGAI SALAH SATU PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN

This study was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students because the learning process has not maximized 21st century skills. This study aims to determine the difference in the average values of critical thinking skills before and after the application of the problem based learning (PBL) model to students' critical thinking skills. This study uses an experimental method with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The population in this study were 27 fourth grade students of SDN Manangga, all of whom were used as samples. The data collection technique used was a multiple-choice test of 10 pieces. The analysis technique used was the Shapiro-Wilk Test and the t-test. Based on the results of the analysis using the SPSS program, a p value (<0.001) was obtained which was <0.05. This means that there is a difference in the average value of students' critical thinking skills before and after the application of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model. Thus, the use of the PBL model has an effect on students' critical thinking skills.
